About this web site

In its continuing mission to provide innovative solutions to human resource issues and to better understand the human resource environment within the cultural sector, the Cultural Human Resources Council, in partnership with the Department of Canadian Heritage and Human Resources and Social Development Canada, has constructed this database that centralizes information on the training resources available to cultural workers within the film, television and digital media industries.

The Training Database for Screen-Based Media purpose is to:

  • Help artists and cultural workers in the film and television industries to find training and continuing education opportunities;
  • Allow training providers to avoid duplication and fill gaps;
  • Assist funders and policy makers to harmonize training opportunities for the film and television industries.
